Finchampstead Ridges & Simons Wood
This was another one of our regular sites until a few years ago. The area consists of a mixture of heathland and deciduous woodland, with some pine plantation, a lake and a pond. The work consisted of woodland work, and heathland restoration, with summer construction tasks in the form of bridge and fence building.

MoD Sites
Wishmoor Bottom / Cashcar Wood
This area forms part of the area used by the trainee army officers at Sandhurst for their exercises. It is mostly a conifer plantation on former heathland. The MoD have a management plan for the site that involves restoring some of the area to heathland by removing the pine trees.
Wokingham Without Parish Council Sites
This is an area of mixed woodland surrounding the Pinewood Leisure Centre complex. Our main task here over the years has been removing the invading rhodedendron. However, this year we have also done a bit of reed control in the pond. Watch out for the steam trains that hurtle past on the minature railway.
Arborfield Parish Council Sites
This is a small remnant of a much larger wood that was clear felled in the 1980's. The woodland is deciduous, and contains rarities such as the wild service tree. Our tasks here have involved fencing, bramble clearance, and cleaning out the pond.
